Event Services | On-Call Banquet Server ($17.13/hour+)

About the role

The Banquet Server is responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. They make sure function space is visually appealing and present the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Requirements

• Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull up to moderate weight
• Tolerate moderate amounts of walking
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Flexible schedule of AM and PM shifts, holidays, and weekends; availability to work a minimum of (2) Saturdays shifts per month is required
• Previous experience serving, especially in banquets, is preferred

Pay

The hourly rate offered for this position is currently $17.13/hour. This position earns additional compensation from event-based service charges, and may earn additional compensation from gratuities designated at the guest’s discretion.

Schedule

This position requires a flexible schedule of AM and PM shifts, holidays, and weekends; availability to work a minimum of (2) Saturdays shifts per month is required.
