Event Servers

About the role

Apex Entertainment is seeking friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Event Servers to join their hospitality team. Ideal candidates enjoy working with people, provide exceptional customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-event meetings to review event details, timelines, menus, and service expectations.
• Set up banquet tables, dining areas, buffets, and event spaces according to event specifications.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Provide attentive service throughout events to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Answer guest questions and assist with requests while maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional hospitality from start to finish.
• Work closely with event managers, banquet staff, servers, and culinary team members to ensure successful events.
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, cleaning, stocking, and resetting event spaces.
• Support food and beverage service areas, including buffets and beverage stations.
• Aid in preparing attractions and activity areas for events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience as an Event Server, Banquet Server, Catering Server, Restaurant Server, Food & Beverage Attendant, or Hospitality Team Member preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, including trays, dish racks, glass racks, and event supplies.
• Able to bend, kneel, and work efficiently in event spaces with guests present.
• Comfortable operating basic food and beverage equipment, including coffee machines, ice machines, and dishwashers.
