Event Security for Corporate Convention in SAN FRANCISCO

About the role

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of customers, employees, and property at the Moscone Center during Dreamforce 2026. This includes patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance footage, and responding to security-related incidents or emergencies. The Security Guard will also enforce event policies and procedures, assist with theft prevention, and maintain a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises to ensure the safety and security of attendees, employees, and property.
• Monitor surveillance footage and respond to any security-related incidents or emergencies.
• Enforce event policies and procedures, including those related to theft prevention and loss prevention.
• Assist with the investigation of thefts and other security-related incidents.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Requirements

• Active BSIS security guard card (required).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience as a security guard or in a related field is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk long distances.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems and equipment.
• Open availability for the event dates (September 15th–17th).
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations as needed.

Pay

$20/hr with all-black corporate convention attire or $22/hr with black suit and tie.
