Event Security Crowd Control

Join Allied Universal® Event Services as an Event Security professional in New Orleans. Be part of the city’s vibrant festivals, concerts, sporting events, and more while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and the excitement of working at high-energy venues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Allow appropriate entry into venues by checking tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic.
• Screen guests during entry via bag searches, hand wands, metal detectors, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and venue assets by monitoring for security breaches at key checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and provide escorts for unruly guests when ejections are necessary.
• Demonstrate understanding of venue-specific policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Provide a positive guest experience by offering helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their visit.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may apply if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Pay

Starting rate is $15.50 per hour with weekly pay.

Schedule

Part-time, flexible scheduling under 30 hours per week to fit personal life goals.
