Overview
The Historic Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection is seeking an Event Sales Manager to join our team. This role involves driving revenue by booking and managing events, from weddings to corporate conferences. Key responsibilities include selling Banquet Food and Beverage, menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services. Additional duties involve contract review, communication facilitation, site inspections, and contributing to customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of event planning and logistics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- 1 year food and beverage experience
- Creative in designing events
