Event & Program Coordinator (Contract) Schedule: Approximately 37-40 hours per week Duration: Immediate through October, strong potential for extension Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to support community-based programs and events. This role combines event coordination, administrative support, volunteer communication, and general operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is comfortable balancing both office and event-related responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Assist with event logistics, including inventory management, preparing materials, packing and transporting supplies, and supporting event setup and breakdownCommunicate with volunteers, participants, and community partners to provide information and ensure a positive experienceCreate and distribute communications as directed by leadershipMaintain spreadsheets, documents, and other administrative recordsSupport social media activity using existing brand guidelines and templatesProvide general administrative and operational support for ongoing programs and events Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and WordAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesComfortable making outbound calls and corresponding with a variety of stakeholdersExperience supporting events, programs, or community initiatives is preferredMust be able to lift and transport materials up to 25 pounds and assist with event setup and breakdown Schedule & Travel Approximately 37.5 hours per weekSchedule may vary based on event timelines and business needsOccasional local travel required to support onsite events Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
