About the role

Join our Event Parking Team at the University of Arkansas. This position involves duties such as collecting tickets, welcoming and ushering guests, providing superior customer service, directing foot traffic, and ensuring the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and maintenance of designated areas.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
  • Allow appropriate entry into each venue; collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic in and out of the venue.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
  • Initiate a genuine, friendly, and personal greeting to guests as they arrive, and a sincere thank you as you complete each interaction.
  • Provide guests with helpful directions and/or suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
  • Interact with guests using a smile, natural speaking voice, friendly tone, and natural inflection.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; may be required to pass a Driver’s Record check.
  • Must be professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Pay

Starting pay: $15.15/hour. Get paid weekly!
