Overview

Auburn Athletics is excited to begin the search for an Athletic Special Events Student Assistant!

Responsibilities

  • Assist with event set up and breakdown for special events, such as moving tables and chairs, setting linens, florals, and other duties as assigned.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks, such as filing, copying, and using Microsoft Office apps.
  • Aid with other duties pertaining to event preparation as assigned, including but not limited to; greeting guests, registration, food service, cleaning, delivering and unloading stock, operating various tools (pressure washer, drill, leaf blower, vacuum, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Enrolled student at Auburn University
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
    • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
    • Ability to work in various weather conditions
    • Ability to work around large, noisy crowds
    • Ability to work 10-20 hours per week, including all Auburn Athletics home games
