Event Marketing Specialist

About the role

Piper Companies is seeking an Event Marketing Specialist to support the planning, marketing, and execution of live, virtual, and hybrid events while partnering with internal teams to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and successful event outcomes. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute live, virtual, and hybrid events that align with business objectives.
• Develop and implement event marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Partner with marketing, communications, HR, and business teams to support event goals.
• Create audience-focused marketing strategies to increase event participation and engagement.
• Manage event timelines, project plans, and communications.
• Coordinate branding, messaging, and promotional materials for events.
• Develop content including email campaigns, social media posts, event pages, and follow-up communications.
• Manage event budgets and track expenses.
• Measure event performance and provide reporting on key metrics and ROI.
• Communicate event updates and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in event marketing, event management, or a related field.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience supporting live, virtual, and hybrid events.
• Knowledge of marketing strategies, branding, and audience engagement.
• Experience with social media, email marketing platforms, and CRM systems.
• Ability to analyze marketing and event performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Monday.com or similar project management tools preferred.

Compensation

• Salary range: $65,000 - $95,000 depending on experience
