Event Marketing Manager - Sponsorships Management

Job Description

This position manages the end-to-end execution of sponsorships for events. The role involves understanding sponsorship offerings, responding to sponsor inquiries, processing contracts, coordinating payment tracking, and ensuring sponsor readiness for onsite execution. The Event Marketing Manager will serve as the primary operational contact for sponsors, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fulfill all commitments.

Experience

  • Proven experience in event marketing with a focus on sponsorship management and execution.
  • Familiarity with event logistics, vendor coordination, and sponsorship fulfillment processes.
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, and operations.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple sponsorships and events.
  • Clear and professional communication skills for handling sponsor correspondence.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to track deliverables and deadlines across multiple platforms.
  • Basic financial acumen for tracking payments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve operational challenges.

Technical Skills

  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills.

Rate

$30 to $45 per hour payrate

Experience in Technology or B2B Event Marketing Environments

Experience in technology or B2B event marketing environments.

Exposure to Sponsorship Operations, Event Coordination, or Exhibitor Management

Exposure to sponsorship operations, event coordination, or exhibitor management.

Certification in Event Management or Marketing

Certification in event management or marketing (e.g., CMP, CMM).

Familiarity with Event Tools and Systems

Familiarity with event tools and systems (e.g., Cvent, CRM, registration platforms, project management tools).

Understanding of Marketing and Sales Alignment to Support Sponsorship Fulfillment

Understanding of marketing and sales alignment to support sponsorship fulfillment.
