Event Marketing Manager
About the role
SOCi, the leader in AI-powered marketing solutions for multi-location businesses, is seeking an experienced Event Marketing Manager to oversee the company's trade show and conference calendar. This role involves strategy, budgeting, logistics, on-site execution, and post-event reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, planning, and execution of SOCi’s trade show event calendar, including major industry conferences, strategic third-party events, and select customer-hosted sponsorships.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics, working with vendors and venues to ensure deadlines are met and costs are controlled.
- Negotiate and finalize event-related contracts (venues, vendors, sponsorships) in collaboration with Legal and Finance.
- Support ReImagine, SOCi’s annual customer conference, by managing logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and Brand to develop event messaging, collateral, booth design, and pre/post-event campaigns.
- Manage event asset inventory, including shipping and receiving logistics, and use AI tools to speed up event content production.
- Work with Marketing Ops to capture event data, streamline sales follow-up, and report on event ROI.
- Equip sellers with the tools and resources they need for pre- and post-event outreach.
- Build relationships across Sales, Customer Support, and Product Marketing to align on event goals and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of event marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Proven track record planning and executing successful events end to end, from strategy through on-site execution.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and vendors at once.
- Experience with event management and CRM/marketing automation tools.
- Genuinely AI-forward, using AI tools to speed up content, planning, or reporting work.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required for events.
- Willingness to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business.

Pay
$70,000 - $90,000 USD base plus bonuses. Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
Full-time, non-contract role.
