Event Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Event Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead the planning and execution of marketing events that support compliance-driven communications in a highly regulated environment. The Event Manager will partner closely with sales, marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver well-coordinated programs that engage target audiences and support business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management, budget oversight, and vendor coordination skills to ensure every event is executed smoothly from planning through follow-up. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $103,000 – $113,300 annually Responsibilities Develop comprehensive event plans aligned with marketing goals and compliance guidelines Identify target audiences and select appropriate event formats with the sales team Manage event budgets, oversee vendor negotiations, and control costs Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, from setup to on-site management Recruit speakers and manage related presentations and rehearsals Facilitate pre-event communications with attendees and post-event follow-up activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align event objectives with company strategy Qualifications High School Diploma with 9+ years of event planning experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience 2+ years of event management experience in the pharmaceutical industry required Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing regulations and compliance guidelines Proficiency in event management software and digital marketing tools, such as Jira, Concur, Dynamics 365, and Monday.com Excellent project management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Plan Options Health and Financial Wellness Programs 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match Paid Time Off (PTO), including holidays and unlimited PTO for exempt employees Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and other supportive services Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
