Responsibilities
- Management of a team of servers and bartenders
- Creating assignments for each event
- Making sure efficient work is happening
- Reporting to Operations Manager about personnel issues
- Leading pre-shift meetings
- Ensuring efficient and professional service
- Communicating with the culinary team
- Upholding CRAVE Catering's standard of service
- Providing exemplary service for the team
- Handling client requests and resolving complaints
- Setting up and tearing down food stations and displays
- Communicating with guests and clients
- Offering assistance to guests
- Maintaining a positive atmosphere
- Maintaining efficient food and beverage service
Qualifications
- Event Management/Catering experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Proven history of successful leadership and coordination of a team
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Extreme attention to detail
- Understanding of food sensitivities, intolerances, and allergies
- Weekend availability
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
