About the Role

We’re looking for motivated and enthusiastic Trade Show Interns to join our team for Fall 2026. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in vendor sales and event management at convention center trade shows.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of trade shows and events
  • Support the team with lead generation, outreach, and tracking communications
  • Coordinate logistics for vendor activations at events
  • Research potential vendors and local businesses for partnership opportunities
  • Maintain and update contact lists, CRM entries, and sales documents
  • Assist with event-day operations including check-in, signage, and customer interaction
  • Help coordinate sales outreach efforts for events
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Tradeshow Manager

Requirements

  • Junior or Senior enrolled in a university studying Event Management, Business Development, or a related field
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Flexible schedule and available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program or graduated with at least a bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to work proactively and independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple tasks
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in addition to normal business hours as needed
