Event Florist and or Floral Designer

About the role

Join our team as a creative and detail-oriented Florist in an extremely fast-paced event-decor environment. You will design stunning floral arrangements for weddings, parties, and special occasions while maintaining the floral department’s appearance and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Design and create beautiful floral arrangements for events such as weddings, parties, and special occasions
• Design large overhead floral arrangements quickly and accurately
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the floral department
• Collaborate with team members to execute products
• Apply knowledge of different types of flowers and design techniques to enhance the design experience
• Contribute maximum effort to the overall success of the company

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional floral design experience
• Ability to perform at a high pace while maintaining precise results and safety practices
• Team-oriented personality suited to a constant collaborative work environment

Skills

• Experience in floral design, maintenance, and techniques
• Knowledge of floral design principles and techniques
• Strong organizational skills to maintain workspace efficiency
• Ability to work in a team environment under time pressure
• Familiarity with creating large overhead florals to small bud-vase mono-florals
• Excellent communication skills in English for customer interaction

Schedule

• Flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

This is a freelance, part-time, temporary, and seasonal in-person position.
