About the role

This position is responsible for safely transporting guests to their destinations, providing information and luggage assistance in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. You will anticipate guest needs, exceed expectations, and implement creative solutions to ensure exceptional service while adhering to B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group’s high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport guests to their destinations, provide information, and assist with luggage.
  • Anticipate and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner, delivering the highest level of service.
  • Assist and direct guests by sharing knowledge of the hotel property, amenities, local area, and hours of operation for hotel outlets and services.
  • Work as a team player to meet guest needs and actively contribute to the efforts of other departments as necessary.
  • Understand and follow B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group’s guest service recovery program.
  • Fill out all required logs and complete safety checks of vehicles.
  • Ensure vehicles are fueled, clean, and presentable by removing trash and arranging periodic car washes.
  • Responsible for proper use and basic maintenance of hotel vehicles, equipment, and supplies while adhering to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste.
  • Plan routes to avoid unnecessary trips.
  • Operate hotel vehicles safely and adhere to all applicable traffic laws.
  • Complete preventive maintenance, DOT, and required safety equipment checks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, brand, local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Follow all B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group procedures for guest and associate incidents.
  • Knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize work duties to meet required work volume.
  • Adhere to B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group general work rules and department procedures.
  • Attend all required department and hotel meetings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Current and valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Appropriate class of driver’s license based on hotel vehicle requirements.
  • Minimum of eighteen (18) years of age for insurance purposes.
  • Prior hotel and/or related guest service experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail, customer-focused, and ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularly throughout the shift.

Schedule

Part-time position with a schedule of 5pm - 10pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Pay

$15 - $16 an hour. The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, and certifications or professional licenses held.
