In this leadership role, you’ll oversee store operations during evening hours, support department teams, and ensure a smooth, customer‑focused shopping experience in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment. As the Night Relief Manager, you ensure a smooth handoff between evening operations and the overnight team, supporting store readiness and closing procedures. Main Responsibilities Lead and oversee store operations during evening hoursServe as the manager‑on‑duty in the absence of the Store Director or Assistant Store DirectorSupport, guide, and coach department managers and associatesEnsure excellent customer service—friendly, responsive, and solution‑focusedMaintain store merchandising, organization, and safety standardsManage labor, shrink, and inventory expectationsResolve customer issues, staffing needs, and operational challenges quickly and professionallyUphold company policies, compliance standards, and food‑safety procedures Soft Skills We are looking for candidates who possess the following: Strong customer‑service focus with a visible team presence Effective communication, coaching, and team‑building skills Strong organization, prioritization, and problem‑solving abilities Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Competencies Team leadership and coachingOperational decision‑makingCustomer service excellenceProblem‑solving in a high‑volume retail environment Knowledge Grocery product flow, rotation, and inventory control Retail merchandising and promotional execution Store systems and ordering tools Abilities Ability to analyze sales, labor, and inventory data to drive results Ability to train, coach, and develop associates Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry products and work in coolers and freezers Travel requirements: None Other requirements: Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance; compliance with company safety policies and Code of Business Conduct We Also Provide a Variety Of Benefits Including Competitive wages paid weekly Associate discounts Health and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)
