Evening Janitor Supervisor (Full Time)

What You Will Be Doing

• Assist the site manager to ensure the scope of work is met.
• Supervise the quality of work produced during your shift.
• Effectively communicate work assignments and expectations to team members.
• Absorb the responsibilities of the site manager in case of absence.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and target goals are met.
• Ensure employees comply with company policies and procedures, including safety procedures.
• Schedule and manage the shift.
• Train new employees.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• Respond to customer complaints, ensuring proper handling to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2+ years of janitorial experience, required.
• 1+ year of supervising experience, required.
• Floor care experience is a plus.
• Possess a positive and encouraging attitude.
• Work well under minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to follow directions and ask for clarification when appropriate.
• Able to use a computer and familiar with Microsoft 365 products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Able to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time and walk up to 5 miles per shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
