Evening Janitorial Supervisor

About the role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards, managing janitorial staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the training of the cleaning team.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Manage security of keys and access cards for the property.
• Report work orders for maintenance.
• Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Manager.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Complete order forms completely and accurately.
• Coordinate equipment usage and inventories.
• Manage daily employee lunches and breaks.
• Maintain daily shift report for managers.
• Perform basic administrative, payroll, and attendance functions (as required).
• Maintain communication with Account Managers to monitor and maintain optimum staffing levels.
• Provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front-line employees in performing functional tasks.
• Ensure that shift schedules are complete (days off, vacations, etc.) a week in advance.
• Work with leadership to ensure all callouts are covered.
• Accommodate increased/decreased client staffing requests.
• Manage the No-Fault Attendance Policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Two (2) years of Janitorial Supervisor experience is preferred and required.
• Proven ability to manage a large team and/or staff.

Pay

$23.00 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
