About the role

This position prepares electronic transcript evaluations for the Registrar's office for all applicants and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Enters external transcript and prior learning data into the college’s student information system
  • Ensures that approved transfer and prior learning credit is accurately recorded
  • Adds appropriate documentation of awarded credit to the student record using the college’s student information system (Colleague) and archival tool (Hyland Onbase)
  • Provides continuous, timely, and courteous service when assisting all internal and external customers
  • Remains current on articulation, alliance agreements, transfer credit policies by utilizing resources at the college, CHEA (Council for Higher Education accreditation), and Transcript Evaluation System

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience working with student records, databases, or closely related experience

Qualifications

  • Intermediate skills with MS Office products

  • Demonstrates good organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to exhibit critical thinking skills and high attention to detail
