About the Opportunity

The ETL Developer designs, develops, and optimizes enterprise-scale data integration solutions supporting business intelligence, analytics, regulatory reporting, and cloud data modernization. This position plays a critical role in building high-performance ETL pipelines that enable reliable data delivery, scalable data frameworks, and automated workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data integration projects.
• Build scalable data ingestion workflows that extract data from various sources.
• Develop transformation logic for cleansing and validating datasets.
• Design and optimize batch and near-real-time data processing pipelines.
• Implement Slowly Changing Dimensions, Change Data Capture, incremental loading, and data reconciliation.
• Develop reusable ETL frameworks and parameterized jobs.
• Conduct source-to-target mapping, data profiling, and data quality analysis.
• Optimize ETL job performance through query and processing enhancements.
• Monitor ETL workflows, troubleshoot issues, and implement alerting and recovery processes.
• Collaborate on migrating legacy ETL solutions to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Participate in data architecture discussions, code reviews, deployments, and production support.
• Ensure data security, governance, and regulatory compliance throughout data pipelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing enterprise ETL solutions.
• Proficiency with ETL platforms such as Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, Talend, IBM DataStage, or Pentaho.
• Advanced SQL skills with platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Teradata.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing principles.
• Experience designing complex ETL workflows with transformations and data validation.
• Hands-on knowledge of CDC, SCD Type 1 and Type 2, and incremental loading techniques.
• Experience with cloud data platforms including Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or Google Cloud Data Fusion.
• Familiarity with structured and semi-structured data formats.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Shell for automation.
• Experience scheduling workflows using Control-M, Autosys, Apache Airflow, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong debugging and performance-tuning capabilities.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and enterprise SDLC environments.

Pay

Salary range: $115,000–$175,000 annually.
