Ethics Officer - PT
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The Ethics Officer-PT reports to the General Counsel and serves as a senior staff member within the Office of the General Counsel. This position oversees and implements City Colleges of Chicago’s Board Ethics Policies and ensures compliance with ethical standards. The Ethics Officer-PT provides expert advice concerning ethical matters, handles inquiries, violations, and related training efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Oversees City Colleges of Chicago’s Board Ethics Policies
- Addreses ethical inquiries and reports of ethical violations
- Develops and provides ethics training sessions for faculty, staff, and administrators
- Produces an annual ethics report outlining significant developments during the prior fiscal year
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Juris doctorate is a plus
- At least five years of ethics or compliance experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Ability to function in a high-level position requiring utmost confidentiality, discretion, tact, and judgment
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
PAY
Salary Range: $88,800 - 101,800.00. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as other factors such as internal equity.
