Estimator Technician

Responsibilities

• Aid in reviewing project specifications, drawings, and material requirements
• Support the preparation of material and labor estimates
• Request and compare vendor and supplier pricing
• Afford assistance with purchase orders and tracking material deliveries
• Maintain vendor and purchasing records
• Help track inventory, pricing updates, and material availability
• Enter and maintain accurate data in ERP systems and spreadsheets
• Support bid preparation and general estimating activities
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the Purchasing & Estimating Manager

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production, assembly, industrial, or purchasing environments
• Printing, label, packaging, or production process experience is a plus
• Strong basic math and measurement skills
• Basic Microsoft Excel and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn estimating, purchasing, and procurement processes
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
