Our client is a well-established specialty subcontractor with over 35 years of experience in the industry. They partner with leading general contractors across Minnesota, providing self-perform interior demolition and carpentry services on a range of commercial projects.

Job Description

• Have complete understanding of the scope and details of jobs for bid; read and review construction plans
• Communicate with clients and project stakeholders to ensure proper scope and project requirements
• Attend job walk-throughs; review the actual jobsite conditions and verify against plans
• Complete takeoffs through use of state-of-the-art technology and online take-off programs
• Prepare bids and proposals for multiple projects on a weekly basis
• Provide preliminary budgets for projects that are in various stages of design
• Provide suggestions for value analysis alternatives
• Aid in maintaining historical cost database

The Successful Applicant

• 4+ year(s) experience in the estimating or project management field
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
• Ground up project knowledge and experience preferred
• Proficient in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Sage, MS Project
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Interested in mentorship opportunity
• Quantity takeoff and cost estimate experience

• Base salary ranging from $115,000-$130,000 depending on experience
