Estimator - Electrical

About the role

DPR Construction is seeking an electrical estimator with at least 8+ years of experience on commercial construction projects. The electrical estimator will create estimates for commercial projects within our core markets: healthcare, advanced technology, bio-pharmaceutical, and corporate office. This individual will work closely with the Orlando regional management team and all members of the pre-construction estimating team.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual budgeting
• Design development through construction document estimating (quantification and pricing)
• Interaction with subcontractor community
• Presentation of estimates/budgets with owners/consultants
• Preparation and analysis (scoping) of electrical bid packages

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a commercial construction electrical estimator within DPR’s core market projects
• Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
• Effective participation in a team environment
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Timberline and On-Screen Takeoff a plus
• Bachelor’s degree a plus but not required
• A strong work ethic and a “can-do,” solution-oriented attitude
