About the role
Responsible for estimating costs and preparing bid documents for commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Review project specifications and drawings to accurately assess materials and labor requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure project budgets are met
- Generate bid documents and present proposals to potential clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of industry standards and practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with construction software tools
