About the role

Traylor Industrial is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and a passion for delivering high-quality projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand scope of work and project requirements
• Manage cost estimates and ensure they align with client budgets
• Research market pricing and industry standards to inform estimates
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Review and approve change orders and adjust estimates accordingly
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure accuracy in estimates

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction contract documents and specifications
• Experience with construction estimating software
• Understanding of local building codes and regulations
• Ability to travel as needed to support project sites

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $75,000 annually
