Job Details

• We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to manage the estimating process from bid evaluation through project award.

• This role is responsible for preparing accurate estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, analyzing subcontractor and supplier pricing, evaluating project risks, and supporting successful project execution through detailed project handoffs.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of construction estimating experience

• Commercial or industrial construction experience required

• Electrical estimating experience preferred but not required

• Experience using estimating software such as Accubid or similar platforms

• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete project estimates from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission

• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents

• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing

• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs

• Utilize estimating software and bid platforms

• Identify project risks and pricing opportunities

• Work closely with operations, project management, and field teams

• Prepare bid proposals and tender documentation

• Maintain bid tracking logs and reporting

• Conduct post-bid analysis and supplier comparisons

• Facilitate detailed handoffs to project management teams after award
