Estimator

Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.

Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.

Consults with customers, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

To respond to RFQ’s in a timely manner

To communicate with Sales, Engineering and Material manager to gather information needed to quote jobs.

Prepare documents needed for Quote Review

Retrieve outside sourcing quotes as needed for Quote Review

Schedule Quote Review with senior management and follow up as needed

Complete Quote Entry and communication of final quote to customer prior to deadline

To maintain database of quotes

To communicate new jobs/customers to company keeping all informed

Notice differences between estimated cost and actual cost.

Performs other duties as assigned.
