About the role

CBRE DIRECTLINE, a CBRE Data Center Solutions business, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will develop accurate, competitive cost estimates for low-voltage systems in large-scale hyperscale data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed proposals, coordinating with sales and project management
• Track scope changes and change orders
• Sourcing vendor pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and project compliance
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Identify potential project risks and prepare timely change orders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Relevant certifications like Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA) or Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) may be beneficial
• 3+ years in cost estimating large scale hyperscale data center
• Technical proficiency in data center infrastructure, electrical systems, and construction practices, including low-voltage systems
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Microsoft 365, Bluebeam)
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management and prioritization skills

Qualifications

Pay

The minimum salary for the Estimator position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Estimator position is $125,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
