About the role

Join a respected commercial contractor specializing in natural stone fabrication and installation. This role offers the rare opportunity to train directly under a seasoned Senior Estimator before stepping into a leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction takeoffs and assemble estimate packages
• Perform full-cycle estimating for stone fabrication and installation projects
• Collaborate with the Senior Estimator to learn company-specific methods and nuances
• Leverage draftsman support for takeoffs during peak workloads
• Engage with suppliers, architects, and clients through regular communication
• Visit stone yards to meet with suppliers and architects
• Deliver samples to architects as needed

Requirements

• Ideally 5+ years of experience in construction estimating
• Proficiency in Procore and BlueBeam software, with a willingness to learn more
• Ability to climb scaffolding up to 3 or 4 stories and comfort with heights
• Exposure to modern estimating tools and processes is preferred
• Membership or affiliation with estimating organizations is preferred
• Prior specialty subcontractor experience in stone fabrication or installation is preferred
• AutoCAD or Revit experience is a plus

Pay

Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000 / Year DOE
