Estimator

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Review architectural plans, bid documents, and specifications to determine project scope
• Perform detailed takeoffs for: Cabinets (kitchen, bath, custom millwork), Countertops (stone, quartz, solid surface), Accessories, hardware, and specialty items
• Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates and proposals within deadlines
• Identify missing or unclear information and communicate with Sales for clarification
• Maintain and update estimating logs, pricing databases, and Smartsheet tracking tools
• Reading and understanding plan sets, RFIs, and ASI to properly adjust pricing when needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• A high school diploma/GED equivalent is preferred
• 2+ years of estimating experience (cabinetry, millwork, or stone preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience working with bid deadlines and high-volume workload
• Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills, highly motivated, *team player*
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
