Estimating Manager

About the Role

Lincoln Contracting & Equipment is seeking an Estimating Manager who will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters, either personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Develop Scopes of work and budgets for Design Build Projects.
• Solicit subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers through email lists and the Blue Book.
• Continuously develop vendors and subcontractor lists for various work regions.
• Maintain a Dropbox site so prospective bidders can download bid documents.
• Coordinate project requirements with subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers required to bid the project.
• Estimate project costs and general conditions.
• Develop spreadsheets that reflect bid forms for projects.
• Create various Excel spreadsheets to expedite estimating take-offs.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages 3-5 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 20-50 employees in the Project Foreman role. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.

Requirements

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PMP designation preferred.
