Estimating Manager

Leads the estimating department and prepares and coordinates accurate construction material estimates and bids. Reviews plans and blueprints, completes takeoffs, obtains material pricing, and ensures estimates are accurate and submitted on schedule. Responsibilities Hire, train, supervise, and support estimating department employees.Plan, assign, and oversee the estimating team's work and ensure compliance with company procedures.Review estimate requests, construction documents, and blueprints to determine project scope.Complete takeoffs and enter the information needed to prepare estimates.Review estimates and revisions for accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.Obtain material pricing, maintain product and vendor information, and coordinate with outside estimating services.
