About the Role
The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain is a private ski resort nestled in the scenic Green Mountains of Vermont. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to our exclusive membership through world-class amenities, personalized service, and a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere.
We are currently seeking talented and licensed Estheticians to join our Spa & Wellness team, available as a part-time employee or independent contractor. In this role, you'll provide our members with relaxing, results-driven skincare treatments that help them look and feel their best after a day on the mountain or in the mountains.
Services Offered
We welcome estheticians offering services such as:
- Facials & Customized Skincare Treatments
- Chemical Peels
- Microdermabrasion
- Dermaplaning
- Waxing & Hair Removal
- Lash & Brow Services (tinting, shaping)
- Body Treatments & Exfoliation
- Anti-Aging & Advanced Skincare Modalities
- Other specialty spa and skincare services
Responsibilities
- Perform professional skincare treatments and services in your area(s) of specialty, tailored to each member's skin type and goals.
- Conduct thorough skin consultations and recommend appropriate treatments and home-care regimens.
- Maintain strict sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards in accordance with state licensing requirements.
- Create a relaxing, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for every member appointment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment room, tools, and product inventory before and after appointments.
- Collaborate with the Spa & Wellness team to manage scheduling and promote member engagement with spa services.
Qualifications
- Current state esthetician license in good standing (Vermont license required, or ability to obtain).
- Prior experience providing facials and other skincare treatments in a spa, salon, or resort setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of skincare products, techniques, and current industry trends.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for client care and results-driven service.
- Ability to build rapport and create a positive, personalized experience for members.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and/or weekends; open to both employee and independent contractor arrangements.
