Estates Relationship Specialist
About the role
As part of our specialized Estate Services team, you’ll guide trustees, executors, and heirs, as well as attorneys and internal partners, through Estate and Divorce processes with clarity, empathy, and sound judgment. Rooted in our culture of integrity, professionalism, and “One Schwab” collaboration, this role places you at the center of meaningful client moments—helping individuals navigate sensitive life events while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and forward momentum.
As an Estates Relationship Specialist, you own and resolve estate cases end to end by reviewing and processing legal documentation, mitigating financial and legal risk, and guiding clients, attorneys, and internal partners through estate-related inquiries. You deliver accurate, empathetic, and client-focused service primarily through phone, email, and written communications while completing detailed processing work within internal systems. The role requires thorough data gathering and research, attention to detail, and sound judgment to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You effectively manage time and workload, navigate multiple systems, collaborate closely with colleagues, and take initiative to move cases forward. Through continuous learning and openness to feedback, you contribute to high-quality outcomes for clients and ongoing improvement for the team.
You’ll deepen your expertise through comprehensive on-the-job training, learning how to interpret documentation, assess complex scenarios, and apply structured decision-making in a way that builds client confidence. This role is fully on-site in the specified location.
