Estate Support Staff (Full-Time or Part-Time)

About the role
In the Estate Support Staff position, you will warmly welcome guests, clear empty plates, replenish table supplies, ensure timely plate delivery, and accommodate special requests—all to create a seamless and memorable experience. This role is vital to our service standards and offers hands-on experience in a luxury tasting room with opportunities to expand your wine knowledge and service skills.
Responsibilities
- Clear tables after guests leave, transporting glassware and tableware to the kitchen, and placing silverware, dishes, and glassware in designated areas for washing
- Promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and banquettes between seatings
- Reset and arrange tabletops; check and clean floors as needed
- Inspect restrooms every 30 minutes, cleaning and restocking as necessary
- Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate them to servers or a manager immediately
- Restock wine, merchandise, and collateral materials as needed
- Assist with pre- and post-shift setup and cleanup
Requirements
- RBS and Food Handler Certifications required, or must be willing to complete certifications independently and at personal cost shortly upon hire
- Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends (Friday - Sunday), holidays, and evenings as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfort working in varying environments, including vineyards, cellars, and event spaces
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Strong interest in customer service and an appreciation for wine
- Attention to detail to ensure dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage priorities and tasks
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

Previous experience in a tasting room or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Previous dishwashing experience is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Pay
Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.00 an hour, and will be included in the tip pool. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
Schedule
This position can accommodate either a part-time or full-time schedule, depending on the candidate’s availability and scheduling needs.
