Residential Support Staff - PART-TIME
Location: 241 Greenhouse Road, Lexington, VA. Employer: Rockbridge Area Community Services (RACS). Group Home Locations: Lexington and Buena Vista, VA.
About the role
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will:
- Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, and light housekeeping
- Offer encouragement and support to help individuals live as independently as possible
- Engage residents in fun recreational activities and community outings
- Complete daily documentation and ensure compliance with care plans
- Administer medications as needed (training provided)
- Be a part of a dynamic, mission-driven team that makes a lasting impact every day
Qualifications
- High school graduate/GED preferred
- Experience working with adults that have developmental disabilities required
- CNA experience desired but not required
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Energetic, positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable problem solver
- Must be 18+ with valid driver's license and safe driving record

Probationary Period
