Estate Planning & Probate Attorney
About the role
At Martino Law Group, LLC, you'll have the chance to truly build your practice, not just bill hours. As an Estate Planning & Probate Attorney, you'll manage and expand our estate planning and probate practice, working closely with an experienced paralegal and client success coordinator. We're all about empowering you to own client relationships, lead your own matters, and play a key role in shaping our practice as it scales. Our firm values outcomes over hours, offering you the autonomy and growth you're seeking, with a real path to advancement as we work toward our vision for 2028. Join a team where you're supported by a paralegal, client success coordinator, and robust firm-wide systems. You'll benefit from a steady stream of leads and referrals, plus the synergy with our family law, business law, real estate, and probate practices. We foster a collaborative and values-driven culture, with leadership development and mentorship at its core.
Responsibilities
- A capable estate planning & probate attorney: confidently drafting and managing wills, trusts, and estate plans (Level I and Level II) and guiding families through probate and estate administration with clarity and compassion.
- WealthCounsel proficient: you know your way around WealthCounsel / Wealth Docx (or can get up to speed quickly). Familiarity with trust funding and MUPC probate practice is a strong plus.
- AI-forward: you're comfortable using AI and modern legal technology to work faster and better. We run on Clio, Lawmatics, Decision Vault, and AI-driven systems, and we're always improving them.
- A business builder: you bring a business mindset. Existing referral relationships or a partial book of business are a plus, not a requirement — mindset matters more than years.
- A confident presenter: you can host and speak at seminars and workshops (think Wine & Wills, community talks, and educational webinars) that build the practice and serve our community.
- A team leader: you'll manage and develop a paralegal and a Client Success Coordinator, setting clear expectations and following through.
- Always learning: you're coachable, curious, and committed to getting better every quarter.
