About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Spanish-speaking Estate Planning and Probate Attorney licensed in Texas to join our growing practice. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients, educating the public through seminars and presentations, and drafting sophisticated estate planning documents. The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional, highly organized, and comfortable presenting to both individuals and groups. Experience with estate tax planning is a significant advantage.

Qualifications

  • Active license to practice law in Texas
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
  • Minimum 3+ years of estate planning and probate experience preferred
  • Strong client communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent drafting and analytical abilities
  • Ability to travel throughout Texas for educational seminars, client meetings, and presentations
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Conduct estate planning consultations in English and Spanish
  • Advise clients regarding revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, probate administration, trust administration, and asset protection planning
  • Draft sophisticated estate planning documents and probate pleadings
  • Guide clients through probate and trust administration matters
  • Present educational seminars and workshops throughout Texas
  • Meet with referral partners, financial professionals, and community organizations to educate the public on estate planning
  • Travel as needed throughout Texas for client consultations and speaking engagements
  • Collaborate with legal assistants and paralegals to ensure exceptional client service
  • Maintain accurate client files and meet production deadlines
