Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand their estate planning goals, family circumstances, and financial objectives.
  • Prepare and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and other estate planning documents.
  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies, asset distribution, beneficiary designations, and related matters.
  • Handle probate and estate administration matters from initiation through resolution.
  • Represent executors, personal representatives, trustees, beneficiaries, and other interested parties as appropriate.
  • Prepare probate pleadings, petitions, court filings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide practical legal guidance on estate and probate issues.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, financial professionals, and other advisors.
  • Manage deadlines, case files, and client communications in a primarily remote environment.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support professionals to provide an exceptional client experience.
  • Stay current on Arizona estate planning, probate, and trust laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Active Arizona Bar admission and good standing required.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Prior experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, or a closely related practice area.
  • Strong understanding of Arizona probate and estate planning procedures.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong client communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to independently manage matters and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Comfortable working with technology and cloud-based legal systems.

Pay

$150,000 - $180,000 per year
