Job Functions

  • Draft estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.) and advise clients on estate planning matters.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings, and litigation-related filings.
  • Manage discovery and other litigation support activities.
  • Conduct legal research.
  • Attend and conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
  • Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
  • Represent clients in court for probate, estate, and litigation matters.
  • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

Skills & Requirements

  • Member of the California Bar and in good standing.
  • 5+ years of experience in Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate, and Litigation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a professional environment and maintain a professional demeanor in all situations, including the ability to remain calm and efficient during stressful situations.
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently.
