About the role
The Estate Planning Attorney will work directly with clients on complex wealth transfer strategies, trust and estate planning matters, business succession planning, and related tax-sensitive issues. This position offers substantial client interaction, mentorship, and a clear path toward partnership for attorneys seeking a long-term career home.
Responsibilities
- Meet directly with clients to develop and implement estate planning strategies.
- Draft revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents.
- Advise clients regarding wealth preservation, asset protection, and business succession planning matters.
- Draft corporate governance and related business entity documents.
- Review financial records and collaborate on tax-sensitive planning strategies.
- Aid clients with trust administration matters and post-death planning issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Estate Planning experience.
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle complex legal matters.
- Experience with estate planning laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of estate planning and trust law.
- Experience with estate planning software.
