Estate Operative
About the role
Be part of a growing, sustainable neighbourhood where new homes, landscaped courtyards, play spaces and community amenities are coming to life. You’ll join a friendly on-site team supporting a diverse mix of residents in a modern, well-planned environment that values green space, clean communal areas and a welcoming atmosphere. Every day brings visible variety—moving between blocks, gardens and shared facilities—where your work has an immediate, positive impact on the resident experience.
You will be the visible, go-to presence on the estate, keeping communal areas immaculate, safe and well presented. Most days you’ll rotate through cleaning, waste management, light maintenance, reporting repairs and supporting contractors, while providing helpful, courteous support to residents and visitors. Success looks like communal areas, entrances and lifts consistently spotless; bins and recycling managed proactively; health and safety checks completed on time and documented accurately; minor defects identified early and resolved or reported before impacting residents; residents and visitors feeling welcomed, informed and supported through professional, friendly interactions; and smooth estate team communication with clear handovers and timely updates to the management office.
