Estate Litigation Attorney

About the role

This is for the attorney who isn’t totally jaded yet, still actually enjoys what they do, and leans in when cases are messy, cause particularly in Estate Litigation – it is all messy!

Responsibilities

• Managing your own litigation caseload from start to finish
• Strategizing (a lot), not just executing
• Arguing like it matters (because it does)
• Standing up to opposing counsel without hesitation
• And yes—sometimes standing up to our own clients (because they can become emotional and irrational).

Reality About Litigation

The Practice of Law is HARD. Litigation is even harder. There will be days when:

• You’re running on only coffee and adrenaline
• You’re exhausted
• You’re behind on sleep
• Your personal life takes a back seat
• The case is all that matters cause a hearing is coming up

What We Expect

• 3–7 years of litigation experience (estate/probate preferred, but not required)
• Ability to manage cases mostly independently
• Strong research and writing skills
• Strong courtroom presence
• Strategic thinker, not just a task-completer
• Thick skin + high standards
• Zero tolerance for mediocrity (your own or anyone else’s)

Compensation

$140,000 - $180,000/year
