About the role

To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and implementation of educational programs in both general and special education settings.
• Aid in the development and execution of individualized education programs (IEPs) as directed by licensed teachers.

Requirements

Essential qualifications include:

• Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass ESSA proficiency tests in reading, writing, and math.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of special education methodologies and practices.
