About the role
Purpose: To provide temporary support and assistance to special education teachers and classroom staff throughout the district as necessary for extreme behavior issues, acute medical situations and difficult student transitions.
What is ESSA? The federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) works to support equal opportunity for disadvantaged students and eliminate barriers to student success. ESSA requires all paraprofessionals working in a Title I funded school to meet certain proficiency in reading, writing and math.

Hourly range: $26.44 - $33.69

Requirements
ESSA Documentation Required: Yes. Applicants must meet ESSA proficiency requirements in reading, writing, and math for paraprofessionals working in Title I funded schools; transcripts and/or test results must be attached to the application for verification.
