About the role

Responsibilities

• Prepare lessons reflecting accommodations for different student learning styles.
• Teach within the prescribed course of study for the subject area at the designated grade level.
• Assume responsibility for written lesson plans for substitutes.
• Plan varied learning experiences using multiple media and methods to engage students and optimize instructional time.
• Evaluate and record students' progress and communicate findings to parents as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teacher certificate with required subject and subject level endorsements.
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
• Ability to follow specific instructions with minimal prior experience.
• Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing educational landscape.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest developments in the field.

Qualifications
