ESL Instructor - Level 2

Responsibilities

• Plan, adapt, and implement lesson plans aligned to the program curriculum and incorporate the provided educational materials.
• Teach English conversation skills through a student-centered teaching approach.
• Maintain and submit records of attendance.
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor.
• Participate in relevant professional development activities, as available.

Qualifications

• MA in TESOL, TESL, TEFL, or CELTA
• Minimum of 4 years teaching experience
• Proficient English speakers with strong knowledge of English and language use
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with students from a variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds
• Ability to use digital platforms to instruct, communicate, and record program data

Covid-19 Considerations

Record of completed COVID-19 vaccine or confirmed medical/religious exemption required. Compliance with current COVID-19 protocols of the organization.

Classes Offered

Saturdays, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, beginning September 2025 through June 2026. Opportunities to teach at other locations in the Boston area possible.

Compensation

$50 per teaching hour
