ESI Operator

About the role

Vishay manufactures one of the world's largest portfolios of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components essential to innovative designs in automotive, industrial, computing, consumer, telecommunications, military, aerospace, and medical markets. Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, NE is a major manufacturer of resistors and e‑beam technology with about 600 employees, making it one of the largest employers in the area.

Responsibilities

• Cleans machine contacts before operation.
• Performs quality test requirements or confirms the machine has passed the test requirements.
• Operates ESI machine according to proper DES.
• Records information as required on the production traveler and enters information into prod‑info computer.
• Checks production traveler to make sure previous steps have been done and proper documentation has been filled out before sending on to the next operation.
• Maintains clean and orderly appearance in the ESI and staging area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by area supervisor.
• Uses ESI equipment, pushcarts and occasionally small hand tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations
• Prior production experience is desirable
• Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR/EAR access

Schedule

1st shift, Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am‑3:30 pm; overtime available as needed.
